VDL Make-up Review

Good afternoon people!

While I was away a special parcel arrived for me and I just couldn't wait to get home and try it all out. The special parcel was a new VoxBox from Influenster containing 11 different products from the VDL line.

I received these products free in exchange for providing a honest review.

All right now, let's see what I got.

Naked Cleansing Oil Cream - This cleanser works amazing. It took everything off my face and left no oily residue or feeling. Just clean and hydrated! I'm a little disappointed by the scent though, it smells rather synthetic. I would prefer a little lighter of a scent. However, I will still use it because it works so well. And it could end up finding it's way into my regular routine.

Lumilayer Primer - I felt like a pretty unicorn when I used this primer. A little too iridescent for me. It did camouflage pores and small blemishes. I didn't find that it helped much with larger bumps. It's not my cup of tea for everyday use but I did like my look.

Lumilayer Primer Fresh - This is my jam. Awesome primer. Hides pores, redness, blemishes, & leaves a matte finish to help hide the larger bumps. I can't say enough good things about this primer. I absolutely love it. It does exactly what I want my primer to do.

Perfect-Lasting Foundation - Second best foundation I've every used (and I've used a lot). This foundation has great coverage capabilities. It mixes well will the primers for a light coverage and is buildable from there. For the price point I would likely rate it my #1 because my other #1 is way to expensive. VDL is making good products as prices I like.

Creamy Stick Jelly - This was my first time using a product like this. After trying it multiple times, I'm still not sure that I have an opinion on it. The colour is great for me and I love the smell. I think maybe I need some guidance on this one.

Eye Colour - I got 3 different colours of the eye shadow. I simply adore 2 of them; Moss & Golden Olive <-- these are my kind of colours. The 3rd, Cranberry, not for me. Too bright. But, they all have great pigmentation and last all day. I really like the look I was able to create with just 2 colours. And the shimmer in them adds just enough pizazz for me.

DeepMatte Liquid Eyeliner - Honestly, I'm not usually a fan of liquid eyeliner because I find it very difficult to apply. This liquid eyeliner changed my mind. I'm stoked that I have this in my kit now. I can add a dramatic effect without fucking everything up. This is a WINNER!

Lip Cube Fluid Lipstick - I received the best colour of this, but I can't read the name of the colour (sorry) there's a stamp over it. It lasted for hours. A meal and lots of water later it was still on. And the best part is that is felt like a lip balm. Kept my lips moisturized the whole time.

Radiance Fix Mist - Setting spray. I don't have anything good or bad to say about this. It works just as well as any other setting spray I've used. The scent is pleasant and it's easy to use.

Overall, I am very happy with all these products. They preform well & as they were intended. I will likely be adopting a few of them into my routine.

I hope this was helpful for you. Let me know if there is something you would like me to review in the future. Make-up; skin care; clothing, household products.
