Routine In My Days

Image
Good afternoon! Just for fun here's a picture of Spazz getting her nails done.  It's almost time to wake hubby to go to work at 6:00.  It's a routine. On days that he works a night shift, he goes to lay down and sleep from 3:00pm -5:00pm. It's the part of my night shift days when I get caught up on things that I might have let slide so that I could spend more time enjoying him. Routine. I like that. Today was anything but routine.  For the last 3 weeks I've been waking at 6:30am and getting chores done; laundry on Saturday; sheets changed on Sunday; floors mopped on Tuesday. And so on. Getting my routine on. Well today is Tuesday and the floors did not get mopped until after 1:00pm. It made me cranky. I know it shouldn't have because [really]   it's just mopping, but I really like to have that kind of stuff done in the morning so that I can pursue other activities (like this blog) later in the day and not have to worry about getting the necess

What You Might Find Here

Good evening everyone I Just want to give you an idea of the kind of things you might find here. I am not an expert in anything so everything I talk about will be my opinion only (unless referenced). I do feel very passionately about many subjects, hobbies, etc. When I’m really into something I submerge myself into learning as much as I can about it. E.g.: I love health and fitness, so I got certified as a group fitness instructor and fitness nutritionist. I am a proud RCMP wife. My husband and I are currently posted in a beautiful community in Northern Saskatchewan. I love it here. It’s a place where I have the career I want, and he has the career he wants. I’m a career wife, BTW. Together we have 4 wonderful fur babies, 2 cats – Spitz & Spazz; and 2 dogs – Hazel and Wiley. I’ll talk more about them in an upcoming post. Here’s Hazel. Isn’t she beautiful? Most days I thrive on the routine of being a Homemaker.   Some days I’m like “I quit!” ha! As if I have t

A Little About Me

My name is Sheena. I was born and raised on the shores of Cape Breton. You know, the world-famous Cabot Trail? I had an average childhood, I guess. I’m an only child. I never went without. Some might say I was am spoiled. Always a Daddy’s girl, still am at 30. My passion through high school was soccer! I played left defense and I was nicknamed the “MackTruck” because being hit by me was like getting hit by a Mack truck. My only regret is that I played on that team for 6 years and never once scored a goal. After graduation in 2006 I went to college for business; worked a couple jobs before settling in the local Home Hardware. In 2011 my parents bought the Home Hardware and I continued to work there until my Mountie got re-posted in June 2017. I met my now husband in 2015. It was a whirlwind, frenzied time. I spent the night once and never left. We were engaged in Oct 2016. It was a mutual decision that we made and talked about till it was exhausted. We had both been in
